While Future remained in place throughout the song, the visual dazzle came in the form of stacked TV screens displaying scenes from the film, a reimagination of the classic 1972 blackploitation crime drama . Future rapped as he was illuminated by blue multidirectional lasers, while the floor was hidden under a layer of ominous fog. The rapper dressed the part, characteristically donning a heavy collection of bling from his neck, wrists and fingers, while his head remained mostly undercover thanks to an oversized hoodie and sunglasses.
It’s been over a year since Future released his last full length, HNDRXX, but he’s been busy curating the star-studded SuperFly soundtrack, which also features Khalid, Miguel, Lil Wayne and Young Thug. The film hits theaters on Wednesday, June 13.
