Robin Hood brought New Yorkers back together for their annual benefit to fight poverty and celebrate the city’s resilience. Robin Hood’s efforts to rebuild New York translated to banners of 10,000+ donatable Metrocards leading guests to a cocktail reception ensconced by scaffolding. Dancers and percussionists welcomed guests to a dining area lit by a sea of candles, a celebration of life and a remembrance of New Yorkers lost by the pandemic.
Hosted by Cecily Strong, the benefit featured a concert by The Jonas Brothers and included special appearances by Alicia Keys, Bruce Springsteen, Paul McCartney, and other luminaries.
The event took place on the 20th anniversary of Robin Hood’s historic Concert for New York City and raised a total of $77.5 million.
