Robin Hood Annual Benefit

Robin Hood Foundation’s Big Benefit is always an incredible feat of creativity and technicality coming together. The Lumineers, Pink, and Pete Davidson brought heart, joy, and laughter to a night that hosted over 4,000 donors and raised over $73 million for NYC’s neediest families, alongside a newly announced $1 billion endowment to secure the foundation’s poverty-fighting mission permanently.

It was also our most sustainable Big Benefit yet: David Stark’s design incorporated over 60,000 donated household items, single-use plastics were replaced with 5,000 reusable plates and utensils and recyclable water cans, and beef was cut from all guest and crew meals — cutting catering emissions 60% year-over-year and 86% versus our 2024 baseline.

We donated 650 lbs. of food (542 meals, 687 kg CO2e avoided), composted all catering waste at a facility powering 5,000 homes and businesses, and shredded 118,000 sq. ft. of carpet onsite for recycling — cutting transport trucking
