iHeartRadio — Music Festivals

The iHeartRadio Music Festival is a two-day festival held by annually at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Paradise, Nevada. With the first festival established in September 2011, our company was extremely excited to collaborate with iHeartRadio on its inaugural performance. The music festival was sure to draw large crowds with prominent artists slated to perform like Bruno Mars, Carrie Underwood, Lady Gaga, Jay-Z and Alicia Keys.

The incredible success of the iHeartRadio Music Festival allowed the show to continue on in the following years. Our team enjoyed working with iHeartRadio on the concerts between 2011 and 2013. Our production design for those years were inspired by the suits of cards and poker chips associated with the festival’s logo. The stage for 2011’s performance featured three large screens that resembled playing cards fanned out. Our design for 2012 included a large rectangular screen and five semicircle screens with striped borders to look like poker chips. The 2013 stage design incorporated a large arched screen behind five additional screens, in the shapes of a diamond, heart, spade, club and semicircle.
