Robin Hood Annual Benefit

We always look forward to collaborating with the Robin Hood Foundation on its annual benefit. The Benefit is an opportunity to celebrate the thousands of supporters and volunteers who work to fight poverty in New York and raise funds to continue in this effort.

This year saw the Jacob Javits Convention Center transform into an educational playground, complete with dancers, oversized school supplies, a multitude of screens highlighting Robin Hood’s outreach and an entryway lined with 7,000 backpacks to be donated to local students in New York City. Among the invited guests were Kenan Thompson, Gayle King and Sebastian Maniscalco, with performances from Pharrell and Shawn Mendes.

Our role this year included executing the evening’s event providing technical production and oversight. In addition to the technical and lighting design, our skilled designers provided master drawings ensuring all elements fit and worked together seamlessly as well as handling responsibility for run of show, scripting and the production timeline. The 350-person crew included talent, staff and production suppliers.
